WHO WE ARE
A shared faith.
A common hope.
Our hope is to build a welcoming Orthodox Christian community here in Lubbock, centered on Jesus Christ and the life of His Church.
We are in the organizing stage, seeking episcopal guidance and a blessing for the establishment of a new mission. The proposed name, Holy Resurrection, expresses the hope at the heart of our faith: Christ’s victory over death and the new life He offers to the world.
We welcome the interest and prayers of Orthodox Christians, families, and anyone curious about the Orthodox faith. As our plans develop, we will share confirmed news here.
Where things stand
We are an organizing group, and the new mission has not yet been formally established. Our proposed name is pending approval. Clergy, jurisdiction, meeting location, and a service schedule will be announced once confirmed.
